A basic five burner propane. An old Brinkman water smoker. A decent size charcoal pit I burn wood in, that I do some smoking in. A small Chargriller if it's just a couple of steaks or burgers and I want that taste.
I really want an offset woodburning smoker, but I haven't gotten one of my buddies to fabricate one for me, yet . Or something else took my spare shekels.
If I ever win that darn Powerball...

I know. i want a stickburner too, but they are expensive for a good one, and take up a good bit of real estate. I'm not sure as I get older I'd use it enough. Already sold my Open Range a year or two ago.

Church built an outdoor kitchen. Three Blackstone's, three fryers, three double burners, a 12' pit made from oilfield pipe and a fire pit at the end with places to hang three or four hogs.
Plenty of working room in the middle. It's a fun place to cook.

If I could find a church like that around here....
I really enjoyed being in the church choir in junior high. I expect I'd like it now. I was asked to join a huge barbershop chorus, but that's a lifestyle all its own.

I really think I’m pulling the trigger on an Oklahoma Joe Bronco Drum Smoker. Either that or a Weber Bullet. The Bronco is not cheap, though.
Oh, and the charcoal chimney is one of the greatest inventions in the modern era.

Nothing like a pulled pork sammich with homemade BBQ sauce and a dollop of coleslaw on top, all on a fresh bun.
Fresh corn-on-the cob would be nice, too.

I just got given a smoker as my 20 year anniversary gift from work. I have yet to assemble it but I’m really looking forward to monkeying about with it this summer.
Yet another thing I can suck at!

Problem is, all they were offering were $400 watches and/or various items of luggage, neither of which I have any wish for.
At least, that's what I told Mrs. Phibes.

Never used a gas type like that. Have used an electric version. Pay close attention to the instructions. I think if you tinker with it, you'll turn out some pretty good stuff.
Beware the smoke bug. It's addictive.

Mrs Phibes just got back from visiting a friend in rural Iowa. Apparently they thought that the idea of somebody who didn't hunt owning a smoker was hilarious.
So now I need to buy a rifle.
(Just kidding. I'm going to be dangerous enough as it is owning a smoker) -

BTW, you need three guns to hunt with. You need a big game rifle, a shotgun and a .22 rifle. That covers all bases.
Are you right-handed or left-handed?

Probably one of those.
There are 7 managers in the group I work for. In 20 years, only one has never been asked to manage one of the labs, which are filled with explosive gases and dangerous voltages.
Guess which one.

There's probably not much else to do out there once you run out of relatives to sleep with.
