Th state accuses the church as Moscow-linked, the church denies it, there is also the matter of whether to change the worship language from the traditional Russian-like "Church Slovakia" or to pivot to more contemporary Ukrainian ... the congregants are conflicted.

The Russian Orthodox Church under the Moscow Patriarchy is thoroughly co-opted by the Kremlin and its secret police, the FSB. Not only Ukraine but in every country it operates parishes. That includes North America. The Patriarch Kirill himself was a KGB hood during Soviet times.
