        Dong business in mainland China has always been very difficult.

            Florida just passed such a law.

            It is not unusual in other countries for there to be limitations on foreign ownership of land. In Thailand, for example, you cannot buy a single family house. You can buy a condo (actually you get a 99 year lease), but total foreign ownership of the condos in the complex must be less than 50%.
