As best I can tell, currently Trump is beating the shit out of DeSantis...
That may be. And a vote in the primary for Trump is a vote for Biden in the general election…
By the way, Lame Donald is currently pro Budweiser, pro Disney, and is starting to lose his pro-life support.
Ben Shapiro has commented that Trump will run from the Center-Left side of the Republican platform. How will that play with the base?

The GOP primaries may be over before they start. The Hunter Biden story is finally starting to break and you know what? There are a lot of people who voted for Biden in the general, that wouldn't have voted for him if it hadn't been for the damage control letter that has now been shown to be instigated and correlated by the Biden campaign.
But those are just general election voters. Can't speak for all GOP voters, but a lot of them down here think Trump was treated unfairly. Historically unfair. The political impeachments, the Russia! silliness, the Hunter laptop denial and spin by the MSM and yes, some of the election night shenanigans that many still think happened. Those voters also look at their grocery bills, the interest rates on loans, the price of a new car and general Bidenflation, and they'd like to see this merry-go-round of woke justice fixation stop and let the Whitehouse go back to worrying about the economy and kitchen table problems.
It's going to be interesting.

So you believe that Republicans are going to vote for the guy that wants to support Bud Light and Dylan Mulvaney and agrees with Disney that we should be teaching queer theory to Kindergartners. Got it.
-
There’s a few factors that keep getting skipped in this story.
-
Disney would lose billions in leaving Florida. I mean hundreds of billions…Trillion +? Don’t forget that they STILL get hundreds of millions in tax incentives to be in Florida that would require a similar sweetheart deal from another warm weather state. Gulf Coast, Georgia, and the Carolinas are a no, maybe California, Nevada, or Arizona but will the AOCs allow that to happen? On top of that, the cost to build DisneyWorld today would be $4.5 Billion… That’s today… Over the actual 25 years it would actually take to complete that woud be close to $8,000,000,000.
-
Now, let’s talk lost revenue… 20% of WDW revenue comes from Florida residents. Will Arizona be able to match that? Arizona has 30% the population of Florida.
-
While Disney built Orlando, Orlando now feeds Disney. Universal Studios generates 75% of WDW’s total. And is building a 3rd park that will close the gap. Add on all of the other parks (Busch Gardens, LegoLand, Sea World and Orlando is split between Disney and Everything Else. If Disney leaves, you can expect somebody to purchase the developed propert to expand or build their own theme parks on the same primed property. Orlando will lose some business with Disney gone, buy it won’t be a catastrophe, while Disney would face a rivalry it’s never faced before…
-
This is very easily walked back. Disney has always been very private in their political aspirations. They are getting their ass handed to them on left-leaning programming. The streaming and ticket sales are dropping. They could easily just go back to a family friendly business model and not lose…

Perception is reality.
I don't think the Mulvaney story or the Disney story will hurt Trump one iota. The biggest threat to Trump, is Trump's mouth.

What about one the ads start showing Trump Jr asking people to not boycott Budweiser and put Trump’s face next to Dylan, then showing Trump partying with Drag Queens at Howard Stern parties?
What about when adds show Trump and Disney promoting Genderqueer in elementary schools?
The question is how low is DeSantis willing to go? Personally? I think I could get him the presidency in a hot minute if he sacrificed a few ideals…

Governor DeSantis is currently on a foreign tour of Japan, South Korea, Israel, and UK.
I had to laugh at the part of the article:
QUOTE
The governor is spending this week abroad on an international trade mission that will also take him to South Korea, Israel, and the United Kingdom. The trip will give him an opportunity to expand his foreign policy chops — which are typically a smaller part of a governor's portfolio.
UNQUOTEExplain to me how a 1 week tour of four foreign countries will increase his foreign policy skills? As someone who has been involved in this, he will fly in, meet some "important" people, shake some hands, get some photos taken, give a talk, maybe sign a few papers, etc. and then leave. The odds of him really "seeing" any parts of these countries is about zero.
I am sure his handlers (and maybe even himself) thinks this will be good for his foreign policy skills, but it is kind of laughable.
(I know that Gov. DeSantis is not the only politician that does this. And I laugh at the others also.)

What it actually does is let a few foreign folk know that he exists, so that when he runs for President their initial reaction isn't "Who?".

Trump's very first TV spot of the 24 election season.
Saturday Night Live has really gone downhill of late.

First thing I noticed in that Trump campaign screed was the narrator’s voice. Same folksy cadence and timbre of Ronald Reagan.
No doubt intentional.
