I think I posted before about the votes for US Supreme Court judges. Generally, those nominated by Democratic presidents have a higher vote total than those by Republican presidents.

So, depending on how you want to interpret:

1. Republicans are more willing to work with Democrats on Supreme Court judges

2. Democrats are more willing to nominate middle of the road Supreme Court judges

3. Republicans nominate more radical Supreme Court judges

4. Democrats do not work well with Republicans on this issue.

Depending upon which side you are on, you can make the data fit your argument. Same is true for the article posted above. I am pretty sure that these judges were nominated long before Senator Feinstiens medical issues.

You did notice that not all nominated judges were confirmed?

@Jolly I did see that. But I think my point is still valid.

If you are a Democrat, you would look at the nominations and say, "In general, Democrats are more willing to put up judges that are acceptable to both parties."

If you are Republic, you would look at the nominations and say, "In general, Republics are more willing to work with Democrats to confirm judges"
