We spent the afternoon at Udvar Hazy National Air & Space Museum. We watched Journey to Space, the IMAX film about the development of the Orion spacecraft and how they intended for it to get to Mars. The biggest surprise to me was the discussion of Olympus, the INFLATABLE habitat vehicle..
They brushed past the issue with impacts by micrometeorites “there are several proposed solutions” and just moved on…
I tried to research it after I got home and can’t find anything. Is this still the plan?
