    https://www.theguardian.com/business/2023/apr/12/world-bank-staff-son-of-trump-official-david-malpass

Story on some World Bank staff being told to give special treatment to the son of a senior US government official.

Don’t there is anything that implicates any US government official here (e.g., no one from the US government asked the World Bank to give special treatment). Seems to me this is all on the World Bank.

      Putting on my @George-K hat

And you are surprised because why?

      Anyways, Happens all the time.

Jared Kushner raising USD$2B for a venture capital fund from Middle East countries with no prior experience running such a fund.

Hunter Biden on board of foreign company with no prior experience in that area.

      Actors/actresses/singers/business executives, etc etc etc
