    Reporting by a popular press:
    https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2023/03/twitter-posts-the-code-it-claims-determines-which-tweets-people-see-and-why/

“Twitter posts the code it claims determines which tweets people see, and why”

On Twitter’s own blog, where Twitter explains what it does:

    https://blog.twitter.com/engineering/en_us/topics/open-source/2023/twitter-recommendation-algorithm

The code is posted on GitHub:

@Axtremus said in Twitter Published its Recommendation Algorithm:

Gotta wonder why Ars said it this way:

“Twitter posts the code IT CLAIMS determines which tweets people see, and why”

        Casts a bit of doubt.

Also, I heard that this had been leaked earlier, presumably by a disgruntled (and fired) employee.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
