One comment I heard said something like, "At the end of the plaintiff's case, you should be 100% convinced that plaintiff is right. At the end of the defense's case, you should not have a clear feeling of anything. At this point in the plaintiff's case, I'm not feeling this."
IOW, it's a pretty weak case.

You're left with the definite feeling of this guy seeing an opportunity.
He'd had an earlier claim against her for 3.1 million overturned by a judge, and now he's come back with this one.
