A High Value Man

It's an old discussion couched in modern terms... Walking away from social media, etc., in order to marry a rich man...

I think it's not just the rich angle, although that's certainly part of it.
Some of this speaks to an online data phenomenon I've referenced before...Over 80% of the women are chasing less than 10% of the men. This is an even more restrictive group.
-
I know everybody hates me shooting the messenger, however there's a certain amount of self-selection in these discussions, as the kind of people who want to get involved in them have a certain type of personality. I will leave it as an exercise for the reader to determine what type of personality that might be.

Be they selected or not, the phenomenon still exists out in the wild.
Lots of things exist out in the wild.
The danger is assuming that podcasters are normal, and that their values reflect typical people. My friends and family are nothing like these people at all.

Hey, here's a pro tip!
Pansy fucks talk like this.
There's a guy in a photography group online I got to know. His son was born with some heavy learning disabilities, and the schools wanted to sweep him under the rug. So this guy quit his office job, went back to school and got his special ed teaching certificate so he could teach at his son's school and see that he graduates properly. Then he ran for school board and won.
I don't know if that guy is aware of Instagram-as-bachelor-eligibility-virtue-signaling, but I do know he shits out more substance in an average afternoon.

Having the word 'Influencer' in your job description is a million times worse than having the word 'Studies' on your degree certificate.

Scoff away.
I think I'm a fair judge of people. Now, I may not know the current 25-40 bunch as well as you, but some things do not change. There have always been golddiggers and women willing to marry for money. And willing to take a subordinate role to do so. Same reason their husband can have a mistress on the side and they do not care.
Technology, however, makes things different. Witness the woman in this video whose business it is to vet prospective wives and the very first thing she does is comb through their social media. This did not happen 15-20 years ago. Increasingly, you can be an idiot on social media and it can come back to haunt you, even in more serious situations.
Also, consider the recent phenomenon whereby a very large percentage of women on online dating services are interested in a small minority of the men and those men can be more selective. Or if they wish, stack the bodies for the bodycount.
And look at the flipside...That means average guys get less interest from women, lowering their chances of securing a successful date from an internet dating app.
Lastly, watch your language. You wrote "Pansy fucks" and Jon thought you wrote "Panty fucks", jacking his blood pressure up. He's too old for sudden surges...

I don't see the part where I or anyone else has to give a shit how shallow people lead their lives. Unless you're trying to suggest that this is some kind of universal model young people have to fit into if they want to find a meaningful relationship, in which case you'd be terribly wrong about that.

You're talking about people whose concept of disaster is a mislabeled Starbucks order. In other words, yeah, screw 'em here and there if that's your thing, but you shouldn't rely on them to drive at night, let alone provide a meaningful partnership. Let 'em gold-dig.
I don't know of anyone single and looking to get married who (1) actually has their shit together and (2) has trouble. Sniffing out phoneys, flakes and "men of substance" dipshits is a lot easier when you're not one yourself.

I'm a man of substance.
Just don't ask which substance.

I can't think of a faster shorthand for "find the most worthless waste of space in the room when shit hits the fan" than "find the guy with strongly voiced opinions on being a high-value man."

You and me should do a podcast.
We'd be fucking awesome.

Should we present in black-face? I reckon that might be the best way to attract sponsors.
You'll need to get a haircut.
