True Irishmen know that St. Patrick’s Day should be celebrated on the 18th, when all the beet and whiskey is 50% off…

Okay, so the Irish pubs were too packed yesterday…

So we’re headed to The Old Brogue for a dram of Jameson, a pint of Smithwick’s, and a little dinner… I’m deciding between Irish Stew and Soda Bread, Colcannon Beef, or Bangers & Mash…

    What’s on your plate tonight?

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I attended a “Celtic Connection” foundation event in Boston last Saturday night, we had corn beef and cabbage, an Irish band, Irish dancers, and an Irish woman sing the Irish national anthem in Gaelic.

Last night a had pork schnitzel at a restaurant with Prosecco.

Let the server convince me to get the fish & chips… It was very well prepared. The fish was moist, the batter was just right… And I really don’t like Fish & Chips. There are very few foods that are improved by deep frying. Cod is not in that select few. It’s bland…

Fortunately, there was a very good Irish Beef Pie to go along…0D484085-8E2D-4DDB-92B8-EE11F923D0F5.jpeg E679B9C7-F560-4C8E-A809-525036EB5A2C.jpeg
