Let me 'splain, Lucy...
- There's a new sheriff in town. The economy gets bad enough and in two years, might be a new sheriff, a new mayor and a new city marshal. Gonna be some changes, even with just a new Congress.
- The Hunter issue is going to get bigger.
- It's obvious the Dems are throwing The Resident under the bus. When they do, and he's out, it's katy-bar-the-door. Too much money, too much graft.

It's just politics as usual. The next president will probably be Republican, the one after that will most likely be a Democrat.
Remember Larry (RIP) posting after Trump got elected, how everything was changed now, the Democrats would soon be extinct, and the GOP would reform into a new party, and things would never be the same ever again?
People believe what they want to believe, meanwhile it all trundles along.

He was only ever really a stop-gap because they needed somebody familiar and comforting who wasn't Hillary to beat Trump, and it worked. He's really freaking old, which is his main disadvantage.

Biden's influence was never really central to the Democrats, as far as a I can tell. He certainly didn't have the impact that Obama did, or Trump on the GOP. In fact, there's an argument that the main reason they picked Biden was that because he reminded people of Obama's presidency, and let's be honest, Obama would have beaten Trump handily in 2016 if he'd been eligible.
People largely weren't voting for Biden at the last election, they were voting against Trump.
This still doesn't seem to have sunk in.

When historian two hundred years from now talks about past US presidents, President Biden will be one of those president who was just "there". No real impact, good or bad.
