    Race issues and Google searches...My son and I were talking about some analysis he had seen on Google search terms and racism. For every Presidential election year, searches for things like BLM, slavery, the Civil Rights Movement, etc., surge. Not small surges, but spikes.

    After the election, the searches fall off of a cliff and stay that way until the next Presidential cycle. This pattern has repeated itself for the last six cycles.

    Things that make you go hmmmm.....

        One thing I have seen is graphs showing usage over time of all these terms in the NYT. What you see can only be described as a coordinated rollout that basically began with the second Obama term,

        This guy is a PhD student who studies the movement critically, A good twitter follow. Here’s a graph he put out last week, I’ve seen dozens like it from him. But no electoral waves. Just relentless increase.
