Tonight I made my favorite pork chop recipe.
Favorite because it's easy, fast and fool-proof.
It's an Instant Pot thing, and it makes its own gravy.
You're supposed to thicken the gravy with the standard corn-starch water slurry.
Tonight, I tried something different - instead of corn-starch/water, I used a teaspoon of instant mashed potatoes. I had to add another teaspoon.
Came out perfect. Just thick enough, and no added taste.
