Interesting that even an animated black woman beats out Kirk…

The least interesting characters make it
Make what? I'm not getting the point of this.

I think he meant "make the poster."
By the way, I never watched Deep Space Nine, Enterprise, anything past season 1 of Discovery, any of the animated series, or whatever Mulgrew was in.

One possibly reasonable explanation is if all of those shows stream on Paramount + and the original doesn’t…

Who owns the intellectual property for Shatner as "Captain Kirk?" Paramount or Teh Shat?

I can't bring myself to be outraged by this. In fact, I can't even summon up mild concern.
Also, shouldn't it say an entire galaxy to explore? They needed a wormhole to just to get to the Delta Quadrant.

Perhaps Shatner does not want to be part of this promotional campaign. Perhaps Shatner is under some other contracts that bar him from being part of this campaign. Perhaps Shatner’s date/time of birth is deemed inauspicious by the promoter’s astrologer for this ad campaign.
