The biggest gift the democrats could get for the next President election is if President Trump was the nominee.

Not if Biden is their nominee.

@Jolly I very hope that President Biden will not be, but if it is Trump vs. Biden again, I think the results will be the same.

People have short memories. In two years, I think inflation will be down, stocks will be up, COVID will be a memory, etc.

You think a campaign based almost entirely on past personal grievance is what the country is looking for?

Nope, but I think a lot of the country is worried about the economy and inflation. And I think the length of the COVID mandates can be linked to Biden.

You two seem to be arguing about which candidate is less shit.

                  Not particularly inspiring.

                  I was only joking

The day is past when the best people want to be President.

I'd like to dive deeper into why, though -- assuming that's true.

OK, but surely that doesn't mean we have to have the worst people.

I can think of people I actually know personally whom I would rather have as President than these two.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
