    Only non-witches get due process.

You wouldn't call your Ford Taurus a Trus. So don't call your restaurant a restraunt.

      Education is extremely important.

We all have our favorites. I have a friend who claims I can make the word "ruined" into 3 syllables - Ru-in-duh as opposed to the more accepted roond.

Really? I always pronounced it ROO-ind.

Philistine. Nobody, I mean nobody, accepts that.

In American movies and TV my ear always hears the word vehicle pronounced Vee-hickel.

Around these parts the “h” is devocalised or silent so the word sounds as Vee-ickle.

                  Elbows up!

I think only a certain type of sheriff deputy pronounces it that way. I never have done so.

It's de rigueur in Appalachia. Seriously, that's the standard.
