Would it be more accurate to say 2 Montana GOP Legislators have proposed legislation banning vaccinated blood donations, and one is already withdrawing their support since the proposed bill doesn’t match her request of separate blood supplies? And it looks like this bill isn’t going anywhere in a GOP controlled legislature?

Two elected officials attempt to do something incredibly stupid to the people they are supposed to represent.
Two random people in a restaurant shout at a politician.
Sure, it's different. However, for some reason, only one of the scenarios seems to worry you in the slightest.
I would humbly suggest that if the two politicians were Democrats, your reaction would be different.

I would humbly submit had two Democrats in California or New York's Congress submitted something equally silly, it wouldn't have even made the news and would have died a quiet death in committee.
