Not to deride the comic value of this thread, I wore one on the plane yesterday. The guy next to me was wearing one so I thought he might be more comfortable if I did too. It's a very small kindness.

Avianca airlines still requires masks for all. I took them from JFK to Medellín and from Medellín to Bogota.

From Bogota to NY, on United, I was one of maybe 5 people with a mask on.

I flew last week, and there were quite a few people with masks on. I wore one at my wife's request (Yes, Comedy Gold!) - last time she flew she got Covid, so she's a bit sensitive about the whole thing, and I know which battles to fight.

Wanna wear one, wear it.

Just make sure you're wearing a fit-tested N95 and wear it for no more than 2 hours. Be very careful not to touch your hands to your eyes while you're wearing the mask...Actually, you'd be better off wearing sterile goggles, also.

And a reminder...when removing your PPE, use sterile technique, as all outer garments (including your mask and goggles) are contaminated.
