      I can remember teens doing stupid things.

      But back then it wasn't national news.

        No, back when I was 16, they would have called the cops. You would have got one warning. The next time, the cops would have slammed your ass on the floor so hard you bounced, cuffed your hands behind your back and dragged your ass out to the cruiser. After you were printed and booked, they'd call your parents to come get you.

        That probably happened about once, and then word got around very fast. If it was the "bad" element of kids in town, it probably wouldn't have been that nicely done.
