Opportunity is out there

Looking on my old alma mater's website for something else, I ran across the Jimmie Davis scholarship...

Applicants must be PELL eligible, have a FASFA EFC of less than 1000, and be a TOPS recipient. Scholarship awards full tuition at a private school.

That's about 11k/semester. And not for the absolute best students...TOPS recipients, at minimum, must take the TOPS core classes (basic college prep), have at least a 22 ACT and a B average.

Opportunity is out there...

Why try, when the government will provide for your needs? And many of your wants.
