      Very interesting.

First of all, is "mouse Alzheimer's" the same as "human Alzheimer's?" Yesterday Mrs. George and I were talking about how "dementia" was not in common usage back in the dark ages (the 1970s). You were just called "senile." Now there are many different types of "senility."

Secondly, I am intrigued by the fact that these researchers are not focusing on plaque formation as being a proximate cause of Alzheimer's. Didn't we talk about how science progresses, and how "me-too-ism" is prevalent in research: "Hey Alzheimer's patients have brain plaque, that must be the cause. Let's investigate preventing plaque." Perhaps plaques are a result, and not a cause? Hmm...

      Fascinating.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Keep pulling threads and the mystery will eventually unravel.
