I’m re-listening to Wheel of Time, a fantasy nov series written in the 90’s. @Aqua-Letifer and @Doctor-Phibes know it well…

It’s ancillary background stuff, but there sure seems to be a lot of spanking of female characters in the background. I’m not really sure that Mr. Jordan had the healthiest view of male and female relationships.

To be fair, he explored the spectrum. Reds and Greens were very different.
