    Heard discussion about Senator Vance's question on Ukraine. His two questions...

    1. How much are we spending? That's an offshoot of this letter Vance sent to the OMB back in January (letter contained within article).

    2. President Biden, will you give us what you consider the end goal in Ukraine to be?

    I do not find these questions to be unreasonable.

      Those are basically the concerns of Gabbard and Peterson from that other thread.

        I have no problem with sending military aid, but the amount, $200 billion is equal to the annual military budge of India, the UK, and....Russia combined.

          Without thinking about it too much - the goal is making sure that Russia is unsuccessful, and hopefully bankrupt, in its push to annex territory by force.

          A bankrupt Russian military means future American defense spending can go way down.

          How much we're willing to spend depends on how valuable you think the first part is.

          Return on investment so far seems to have been pretty high. Turns out the Russian military is a joke.

              I don't think these are unreasonable, either, but also pretty self-explanatory.

                  @Jolly

                  Korotchenko is a real piece of work. He regularly appears on Russian TV blustering on about how Russia should retaliate against this enemy or that enemy. Today it’s the USA. Ten days ago it was Israel, the week before that, Norway.
