@LuFins-Dad said in SOTU:
McCarthy
Will he tear the speech up into a million pieces?
I'd rather see him jump to his feet at the end shouting BRAVO!
Then give Mr. Biden a big hug and a pat on the back.
That would be really cool.

I will eagerly await references to the existential risks of the right, as they lurk in the shadows, preparing to pounce the moment the left stops shaming them for their very existence. Never forget.

Thank goodness...he finally whispered into the mike.
He's actually giving a pretty good speech. It's conversational, not preachy, and engaging.
Not that I agree with his stuff, but he's remarkably coherent (see "Aricept" comment above).

And, given that he think we will only need it another decade, he wants oil companies to invest huge sums in domestic production.
Also lots of trashing the successful.

"Any nation that out-educates us will beat us."
Absolutely agree.
And then, it's about public school teachers needing a raise.
D1, a Chicago Public School teacher makes good coin, and she's said, on many occasions that the problem is not the school but...the family, or lack thereof.
