A great SNL skit

That captures the Democrats dilemma for 2024.

I would be interested to read justifications from the best and brightest leftists for why a DeSantis presidency would be terrifying.
Well if he gets the nod, I'm sure we'll see those justifications getting printed all over corporate media, as fast as ChatGPT can generate them.
Maybe ChatGPT can write SNL skits, too.

Lighten up, Francis. It’s a skit imitating a horror movie. There were horror-movie reactions to every name floated.

The premise of the horror reaction was that they wouldn't be able to beat the republican. Not how awful they are.

There's nothing funny about American politics, Jon.
Shame on you.

I’m imagining a skit where leftists consider supporting Freddie Kruger or Jason or Dracula or Godzilla. They would say positive things about them, like Dracula has a lot of executive experience as a Count, or Godzilla would reduce the need for a defense budget. Then they would see polling data indicating DeSantis would beat them and they’d give the horror movie scream.
