All those high-tech layoffs reported in the news don't seem to make much of a dent in the overall employment statistics (OK, maybe won't be reflected yet due to California's "60 days notice" law). Would be curious to see what the revisions look like in the coming weeks and months.

By the way, all those laid off tech workers get nice severance packages. 6 months pay at the low end from what I gather.
