I’m sure that he would have eventually found his way to Houston in the MLB….On another note, yeah, Brady made the better choice at the time.

He was drafted in the 6th round by the Patriots. A 6th round QB projects to be a decent backup. Obviously, Brady surpassed that, but that’s the expectation. Being drafted in the 18th round of the MLB draft points towards the minor leagues. Backup QB at NFL level > Pitcher at AA Baseball…

I do wonder about the QB of the Arizona Cardinals. He was projected to become a pitcher in the Bigs, and that’s a far better paying gig.

Probably the most famous is Elway. He really teetered between pro baseball and pro football. Archie Manning was a high baseball draft choice.

Russell Wilson was drafted and played a couple of years of minor league ball, never making it to the bigs.

Smarts and athletic talent translate to multiple sports.

Don’t forget Deon. He actually played both professionally. And Kyler Murray probably should be in the MLB.

        I was thinking of QB's.

The best I can remember was Bo Jackson.

Didn't really work out well for Michael Jordan.

This movie lucked out with its release date. I doubt the marketing team could have known ahead of time that Brady would “retire” again at this time.

Good to see some of Tom's contemporaries continuing to work, even as he retires.

But for last year, he’d have winning or tying records against every other team, and an unbroken string of winning seasons as a starter.

But no, he had to be told when to leave instead of leaving on top.
