The thing I dont like (or agree with ) about these types of articles (either from the left side or the right side) is that "the world is coming to an end because of <the other side> and their policies.

I will almost guarantee that when President Reagan was made the president the Democrat side made articles like the above about things were going downhill and we will never recover.

I will almost guarantee that when President Clinton was made the president the Republic side made articles like the above about things were going downhill and we will never recover.

I will almost guarantee that when President Bush was made the president the Democrat side made articles like the above about things were going downhill and we will never recover.

I will almost guarantee that when President Obama was made the president the Republic side made articles like the above about things were going downhill and we will never recover.

I will almost guarantee that when President Trump was made the president, the Democrat side made articles like the above about things were going downhill and we will never recover.

I will almost guarantee that if Vice President Biden is made president, the Republic side will make articles like the above about how things are going downhill and we will never recover.

Things have never been better overall in the US. It is not perfect I agree, but things are quite good overall.

The great thing about the US system is that is "generally" moves things to the middle if one side of the other goes too far and before they can do too much damage.

Here's where I think you go wrong.
The Democrats during Reagan have nothing in common with the "Democrats" today, and I used the quotes on purpose. Yes, some of the geriatrics were around during Reagan, but the far-left, progressive, Marxist-wanna-bes-even-if-they-don't-know-what-Marxism-is, have derailed the good of the old Democrat party, the sticking up for those that have no voice, to an ideology that has been festering under the surface almost globally for decades. Nothing seems like it is: BLM really is only tangentially related to Blacks, open borders has little to do with kindness towards others.

And BOTH parties are in the pockets of the corporate globalists, and both parties are incredibly weak with NO statesment or anyone with guts to stand and defend a position. Most of them should be having oatmeal spooned to them, as well as a supreme court justice or two -- not leading this country to a successful future.

OK. Now I'll actually go back and read the article. It felt like a good rant on my part. At least I feel better.

Bill Clinton could not be elected today. He would not have made it through the primaries...

Imagine what would have happened if America wasn’t great.

If Reagan was alive today and could run for the office again the landslide victory he would have would be historic.

@Larry I think you are probably right. But President Trump is not President Reagan.

You're correct t. Trump has actually accomplished more than Reagan did. This isn't the 1980s either. Just like Reagan was the right man for the job in the 1980s, Trump is the right man for today. The Left STILL suffers from RDS..(Reagan Derangement Syndrome). The exact same kind of feminization happening today against Trump happened in the 80s against Reagan.

History has proven them wrong then, and history will prove you wrong today.
