D4's cat, Luna, understands that G3 (now 6 months) is to be treated very differently than G2 (now 4 years).

Not always. Most of the dogs that we board are great with Finley, but there are a few we have to watch. Not that they would be violent with him, but in play they would bowl him over.
Dakota (our 15-16 year old Border Collie) is indignantly patient (reminds me of that husky meme where the one is laying and rolling his eyes) with the lad.
