https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-53103008I remember, long ago when I was a kid, the toothpaste was branded “Darkie.” I’ve seen the Chinese translation of it at the time as “black person toothpaste,” because the logo is that of a black face with very white teeth. Then it got rebranded as “Darlie.” But the Chinese version of the brand name never really changed away from “black person toothpaste.” Now the Colgate company is reviewing the branding, again.

Pretty bad when the Chinese can't even make toothpaste without stealing it or screwing some other company over.
