Just got up. We go to bed around 10 usually, up 6:45 to 7:30

      I get up between 6:00 & 6:30

I have roughly a 1 minute drive to golf, without traffic.

It is a little faster coming home because it is 2 rights instead of 2 lefts.

We have frost today, so I won't start until 9:00.

I can't wait to retire. I think I've got another 6 years to go, or maybe 3 if I really push it.

I was up and down x4 last night. Old dog had to go out, fire needed stoking, darn cat was having himself a ball and I was watching an episode of War Factories that had just dropped on YT.

My watch said I slept four hours. That's about the usual.

I usually retire a lot sooner than I fall asleep. Will go to bed around 10-10:30P, read until 12-1A, then sleep until 3A or so, then be awake for awhile, then sleep until 7-7:30A -- just like in early times before the invention of street lighting.

I’ve been getting 4-5 most nights, but not last night.

That's how I look at things, too.

The rest of the family, not so much. Mrs. Phibes is an Olympic level sleeper, and I frequently see my kids raise themselves after I've been up for about 6 hours, only to be told how tired they are. It's a good job I'm not prone to making off-the-cuff remarks.
