There’s no bottom for this guy

If true, I'm not surprised he'd be attracted to Congress.
However, how do we know that he used that alias? I see allegations, but no evidence. I followed the link, but once again, there was only allegation.
I suspect he's a
politicianscumbag, but this is not credible yet. -
It sort of turns into a he said/he said issue when you get to the part of the story where the veteran and dog were taken to a different vet clinic where they refused to work on the dog as the tumor was too big.

His actual name is George Anthony Devolder Santos.
Here’s video of him using the ‘Anthony Devolder’ name.

Yes, but when one is a retired police sergeant who runs the NJ Veterans Network and the other is George Santos….

Yes, but one is a retired police sergeant who volunteers helping veterans and the other is George Santos.
I’m not trying to defend the guy. Just saying this looks a bit more like outrage porn than a real story. It looks like they did take the dog to a legitimate vet for treatment and the vet took a look and said the tumor grew too big and we shouldn’t perform the surgery. They admitted through the story that the rumor had tripled in size over this time.
Now, IMO they should’ve gone back to the original vet for a second opinion, and if inoperable, the money should have gone for the cremation/disposal and/or getting a new service animal.. However, if the charity did/does have other animals at need and they decided to use the money for those animals, that would be a very different story than he took the money and ran…

Just when you thought...
Rep. George Santos also known as drag queen named ‘Kitara’ in Brazil over a decade ago
US Rep. George Santos reportedly dressed as a drag queen named “Kitara” while living in Brazil more than a decade ago as more details of the congressman’s convoluted identity continue to emerge.
Santos (R-NY), who’s reportedly gone by a number of aliases in his truth-challenged past, appears to be depicted in a photo in a drag costume from 2008, according to an article from the Substack site “The Handbasket” by reporter Marisa Kabas.
The latest look into Santos’ younger years was revealed to Kabas by Eula Rochard, a drag queen in Brazil and former friend of Santos.
Santos and Rochard met when Rochard was already an established drag queen in a Brazilian city next to Rio de Janeiro, according to the report.
“I think I met him when he was around 16 or 17 years old,” she said of Santos, who used to go by Anthony back then. “He used to hang out in my house while his mom was playing Bingo.”
Santos has reportedly used the pseudonyms Anthony Devolder and Anthony Zabrovsky.

Democrat vote = good
Republican vote = badI'd feel a lot more outrage and be pissed about the situation if the media were as outraged with the Left side of the aisle.
They aren't.
So, I'm not.
Real politick, 2023.

Just embracing Demonrat values.
There is no level they will not sink to, as long as they have the vote.
I look at it this way...If he's done something criminal, prosecute him and get him out of office. If not, the citizens in his district will have a crack at him in just a few more months.
Would be absolutely Waters-esque to reelect him.
-
Presumed innocent until proven guilty. I'm good with that principle.
Not even sure if I want automatic removal from Congress just because of a convention or something, it needs to depend on what that conviction is about
Ultimately, it should be the voter's decision. Not sure if there is a mechanism for the people in his district to "recall" him. This looks like it would be a good application of the "recall" procedure if there is one.
But "committee assignment" is not up to the voters. It's up to controlling party's leadership. This is where the party leadership needs to own up to the morals of appointing unethical persons to committee positions.

Let them make him the face of the party. And MTG can be the ass.
Most people don't even know who MTG is. And in about two weeks, when the media moves on to something else, nobody except the people in his district will know who this guy is.

Speaking of Frank Zappa in the other thread, I find this an appropriate tie-in.

That can be helped.
