Nation of Victims

"We have a national identity today centered around victimhood, . . . I think that leaves a moral and cultural vacuum in its wake."
"The solution he promotes is to "fill that vacuum with something more rich, more meaningful; shared national identity that’s built around the unapologetic pursuit of excellence."
"Be proud of our history, not ashamed."
Wow; Power.

Would you know it if it did?
You only know what the media wants you to know...
Yep. 90% of narratives are performative anyway.
I personally interacted with plenty of TDS sufferers. That attitude and belief was indeed institutional and systemic. But I'm not sure how many people walk around actually feeling like victims, or feeling like white males suppress them. That's more for people hand waving in front of cameras, or for writers, crafting narratives.
