    Oh, what are you making for sides?

      Nothing. One dish dinner. Major cruciferous veggie night. I could make potatoes but not necessary.

          @George K

          Making this right now - sauteed cabbage with kielbasa. MFR is not excited. Sounds delicious to me. I like Eastern European food.

          @George K

          I work with a Polish guy who very much objects to Poland being described as 'Eastern Europe'. He says it is 'central European'. Obviously, he's Polish, so he can't read a map for shit.

          I was only joking

            I really don't care whether you loved it or not.

            The important question is: What did YFR think?

                Man... that's some good groceries right there.

                When I would visit my grandmother when I was a kid, that's the dish she would always make for us. Such a treat.

                She was Ukrainian, came here thru Ellis Island and broke into her native language when she was pissed.

                We still cook kielbasa often. Love it.

                  We like that kind of thing, too.

                    Was great. I loved it.

                    I made it for lunch today.

                    What a great recommendation. It doesn't get any easier, and the time investment is one of those "Yeah, it'll be good for lunch."

                    Loved it, and D4 tasted and put it in her recipe box as well.

                    I ended up eating way too much for lunch, so dinner was liquid, if you know what I mean. I have enough left over for another lunch meal.

                    Thanks for the recommendation - it's going to be one of my "go-to" dishes.
