“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

      tl;dr version

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Given that C19 is more or less under control or at least, manageable in North America at this point, I would say this is a prudent policy. Others, even other Asian countries are introducing similar. I hope this country initiates one as well.

Really don’t care if it’s hypocrisy or xenophobic on Biden’s part. At worst it is erring on the safe side.

Besides, I am sure most Americans are quite content restricting communists from entering the US at any time.

          Absolutely.

But, 2 ½ years ago it was xenophobic. Now it's prudent.

How many cases has China had in the last year?

          Right. We don't know.

            @George-K

I said it was prudent today and probably thought or said the same in 2020.

Really don’t care if others think think it’s xenophobic or even racist. It is prudent. Bite me.

              I agree (didn't I say that?).

              It's prudent.

But the 2020 candidate said it's xenophobic, as @jolly pointed out. Nice to know that now, it's not xenophobic, because it's prudent. Perhaps his thinking has evolved. Lord knows, he's old enough for evolution to be a factor.

                You did say that.

You’re right he’s probably evolved. Still has problems though standing erect and walking on two legs unimpeded.

Hey, at least he believes in evolution. That's a definite step in the right direction!

Because if people think that politicians were intelligently designed by an all-powerful, loving creator, it would actually be pretty worrying if you consider the results.

                  I was only joking
