A center right commentator I follow made an interesting observation about the relative lack of pushback on the election results.

After all the lawsuits from 2020 the right wing networks are far more careful before they put random nutters on making outrageous claims. Fox in particular is potentially in serious trouble - perhaps even 9-figure trouble - in the Dominion suit.

So it could be that there were crazy pillow guys, disgraced former national security advisors, and clownish lawyers ready to froth up the faithful but they just couldn’t get that much oxygen.

    Only non-witches get due process.

Saw a story today that Hannity denied ever questioning election results, esp wrt Dominion.

It must be so difficult deciding whether to stick his head up Trump's arse or his own.

        I was only joking

Did he, though? I can’t speak to Hannity’s show, but I recall Fox News in general being VERY careful about reporting the story about Trump and Co making accusations about Doninion, not actually making allegations themselves. That’s why I was curious about the lawsuit. Dominion had a case against ONN, but it seemed to me that they were casting a wide net by including Fox.

I suppose one could say that he (and Fox) gave a platform to the likes of Powell and others without pushback.

I didn’t mean “Did he deny believing the Dominion stories” I meant did he deny the election results, especially in regards to Dominion? As I said, I seem to recall the Fox News reporting on the story seemed like they were dubious, asking for proof and such.

Should they have even given a platform to these people? This was the sitting President of the US and his legal counsel. How do you not? If the Dominion story is false, then it’s still a news worthy story that these people are making these claims and filing these cases in court.

The suit against Fox seems to have no standing, IMO.

Yes, they used the same voice, like your kindergarten teacher explaining something carefully, that they used when talking about 1/6. They were very careful to point out that they don't like violence. However...
