Dolly is quite the songwriter.

That movie is worth watching just to see Charles Durning dance.

Dolly is talented, but then so her is family. The whole bunch sings and their harmony is good.

I worked with a guy from Sevierville who knew of the family. He said they were a poor and apostolic family. Although there is only one high school in the county, he thought the ones his age (he's in his sixties now) had dropped out by high school.

AFAIK, Dolly is one of the few who graduated from high school.
