A teen in India miraculously survived after a javelin was thrown through his neck during a freak track and field accident, as seen in a video of his impromptu piercing.

The freak accident occurred on December 17 while Sadanand Meher, 14, was playing sports at the Agalpur High School in Odisha, India, Jam Press reported.

Disaster struck after a student threw the sporting spear that ended up piercing the boy’s neck, going in one end and out the other.

Orwell was shot right through the neck during the Spanish Revolution and survived.

We were millimeters away from not having any of his great works.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

How do you have a Javelin accident?

Since the boy is okay, are we allowed to make puns?

I find that people who make jokes about near tragedy are a real pain in the neck.

          I was only joking

Always leave it to @Doctor-Phibes to say something in a jocular vein.

Putin finds Javelins to be a pain in the neck, too.
