    Lifetime ban...

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

She said the health system would save billions of dollars from not needing to treat illnesses caused by smoking, such as cancer, heart attacks, strokes, and amputations.

But the pension system will have to pay them for so much longer. And they will still eventually need healthcare for whatever will kill them.

This is a really shortsighted law.

Let the kids have a smoke and you can stop paying for them much sooner.

Not only that, the kids will look so much cooler with a smoke on their lips.

555 Copper. I remember reading an article about mainland China. One of the arguments for being very acceptable to smoking was the possible decreased costs in healthcare because people would die earlier. In addition, the government had a monopoly for a while and made huge amounts of money from smoking.

Even so, I am glad that it has been banned from most public places. I used to hate going out and getting that smell all over me.
