They need a study comparing pregnant gals of all races, but in the same socio-economic status.

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

I'm sure finding an OBGYN you trust is important to every birthing person. But moving from LA to NY does not seem to address any issue with statistical outcomes for birthing persons of color.

      Education is extremely important.

A study of prenatal care in prison might offer a clue.

Some people really need to acknowledge their privilege before opening their mouths.

And if you have risk factors over & beyond being black, just cite them .. because your OBGYN would’ve told you all about them. Those risk factors should be front & centre part of reshaping your narrative.

According to the CDC, there are multiple factors that contribute to the racial disparities that exist during childbirth, including “quality healthcare,

            OK…

            underlying chronic conditions,

            Reasonable…

            structural racism, and implicit bias”.

            What The?!

            “Did you hear about Jim?”

            “No, what?”

            “He died.”

            “HolyS$&@, what happened?”

“Well, he was walking down the street and WHAM! Implicit Bias…”
