Slow Horses is back

Hell yeah.

Two episodes in.
Despite the fact that all of the characters are such over-stated caricatures, I'm enjoying it so far.
A lot of names to keep track of, and as anyone who has read any Russian fiction can agree, that's a difficult thing.
I would enjoy it more if there weren't so much over-the-top stuff. Oldman is great, but it's just too much. It's almost as though the producers go out of their way to make him look the way he does. Ditto "Spider." Can you imagine a more sleazy looking character if you tried?
(loved where Oldman reaches into the drawer for a going-away gift)

Season 3 was the best one, so far. Far better than 2 (which had too many plot lines and too many Russian names).
But my God, Gary Oldman, you've let yourself go...

Isn't that the very point of the show, though?

Yeah, but there comes a point where "method acting" becomes ridiculous.
There's a scene in which Lamb is "bathing" in his office. The size of Oldman's gut was...impressive.

Just finished the season. Too much reliance on shootemups to resolve an otherwise good story. Looks like S4 will be more of that.

Agreed. The whole season could have been one episode shorter if they got rid of the whole ridiculous shootout stuff. A much better, tighter, story, however.
Another criticism is the Lamb character. Seems like they went out of their way to make him a caricature of the person we saw in Season 1.
Farts in the car? Really?
I get it, he's slovenly and washed up (washed, figuratively, of course). But, c'mon. Tone it down.
