Still good?

I was preparing to make pancakes for brunch when Finley had a little emergency (he has a stomach bug) that tied me up for an hour or so… I had left the pancake batter out. Still good or should I start from scratch?

I would use it. But then I would use it if it passed the sniff test after having been out for any amount of time.

An hour is no big deal. It takes at least three hours at room temp to even begin to be a problem

May have to add just a hair of liquid, if it's gotten too thick.

This morning I quietly had two pot stickers for breakfast that had been cooked for yesterday’s dinner and left out overnight.

It’s good for the immune system.

An hour doesn’t even count as left out IMO.

I've got fucking Covid. Not from the pot-stickers, though. Mrs. Bloody Phibes picked it up flying back from Iowa.

Actually, strictly speaking I tested negative for Covid. However, Mrs. Phibes tested positive and I'm sick, so I'm pretty much ignoring the stupid test result. Particularly as it means I'm not allowed to go into work.

Sorry to hear you're sick, Phibes. Not only should you not work, you should have naps at will and room service at the snap of your fingers. I hear that bourbon is good for alleviating symptoms. Do your part by testing this for the good of mankind.

Yep, you've probably got it, but...Bunch of Flu A out there right now. Hope they tested for that, too.

Mid October two weeks to the day I received my bivalent booster, the teenager came home from school complaining of a sore throat. Next day he developed a dry cough, congestion and periodic fever chills. He tested positive, went to ground for three days and was then fine. On the day he was back to normal, my spouse experienced the chills and tested positive. Along with the fever she had fatigue and episodic brain fog for close to 10 days.

Towards the end of her bout, six days after testing, I finally developed tickle at the back of the throat and slight congestion that would disappear when I was standing. I tested positive after two days. That was the extent my symptoms. I expect my bivalent booster did its job.
