"Watering the piano" has been the usual reference to refilling the piano humidification system for a long time, at least that has been the case in my household since I had one such system installed many years ago.
Ha. Speaking of, mines been blinking yellow since last night.
I have two such systems, but i deactivated both recently because letting the tuner come more frequently is less expensive than the required energy.
