Hay Brenda (and 89th)! A Minnesoooota contest!

Somehow I cannot see that bit of mirth making up for the frigid temps.
So I guess the froggos are in for the winter?
How is the Brendaette doing?

Yes, the froggos are in the dining room by the bay window. They love to look out the window. They have all their favorite froggo house amenities, too. Vines for climbing, a resin platform with steps that look like rocks leading to the top landing, their water pond, a ceramic pedestal topped with a small perching bowl, and lots of crickets to eat. The girls have gotten quite chonky.
Kiddo is doing more papers, with another deadline in early December. Yikes! If necessary, we will delay celebrating Christmas until after a second deadline on December 23. That date must have been selected by the Grinch!
And how is life at the Mik house?

Life here is quite pleasant. House projects (always), but we're going down to Winston-Salem to have dinner at The Princess's place. She's cooking! Then we will stop on the way back in the Hocking Hills to visit my beloved adopted mom.
Speaking of mom, I've been on a kick lately of cooking stuff out of my mom's recipe book - the stuff I grew up eating, usually modernized a bit. It's been fun.
The Princess was at a trade show this week in Orlando with fellow students and faculty. It was for companies that serve the theme park/trade show/corporate event/theatrical/museum industries by fabricating sets, displays, lighting, etc. While there she and a friend won an 8 hour behind the scenes tour of all four Disney parks, and she made a LOT of connections for after graduation. She got to ride the Ratatouille ride which she was always wanted to go on.

Maybe they are sending some of those snowplows to Buffalo NY

@Mik Awesome trip for your kiddo! I bet she does a good job at the meet&greet events. Takes after poppa I would bet. Making good contacts for after graduation is fantastic. More good things will come her way.
Enjoy your dinner with your kiddo, and time with your adopted mom. She must be special and fun, too.

Buffalo could certainly use more plows and drivers right now.
