ADAMS CAPTAINCY MAKES SENSE FOR USMNT

DOHA, Qatar — The World Cup officially begins Sunday, but the United States men's team has already set itself apart by being the last squad in the tournament to name its captain.

The first game of this World Cup for the US is Monday, tomorrow.

So why am I interested in the captain? He owns half of the golf course where I play every day.

The other half is owned by a neighbor of mine who I play golf with once or twice a week.

Tyler Adams bought half of the club about a year ago. I have yet to meet him, he hasn't even seen the course yet. I have met his parents a couple times - middle school teachers from NJ.

    Go USA!
