    On AMC+

"So, how long have you been dead?"

I watched the first episode yesterday. Mixed feelings. Very very "period piece" like. Great sets and costumes, and at the end you want more - because it's a vampire story right?

    Almost over the top....almost.

I'll probably finish it. I have vague memories of the movie, and I sort of remember it being creepy. This is a whole new level of creepy.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Well, y'know, vampires and creepy are pretty inextricably linked. What channel?

So not Hallmark or Great American Family?

My daughter loves this sort of stuff. I'm not totally convinced it's good for her, all things considered. Currently, we're watching The Great British Bake Off as a "compromise".

          I was only joking

            Not...quite.

The end of the 1st episode really gets into the geh relationship.

            Lots of gore too.

So whaddya think? I’m not a great fan of vampire stuff anyway. But I did get to see my daughter play the title role. That was interesting.

I'm not a fan of Vampire stuff either - other than Cuppola's Dracula, Salem's Lot, Interview With The Vampire ..

                    I'm sorta a fan, I guess.

But I enjoyed the first season of the series. It inspired me to re-watch the movie and read the book.
