Attacking white people for being racist has been the go to method since I was a child.

Perhaps attempting honest dialogue would be a more helpful method. There is systemic racism in this country, calling individuals racists isn’t the best way to start a conversation. It is quite alienating actually.

I've seen the Germans fight on the beaches. It can get pretty ugly. Particularly when they wear those skimpy little swimming trunks which they all seem to favour for some unfathomable reason.

That book is now required reading at my office. We're going to be talking about it at every monthly all staff meeting for the foreseeable future I shit you not.

It is really socially disadvantageous to be an intellectually honest human being these days.

I'm pretty sure they have HR girls barely out of high school who would come to explain racism to me.

Then we would have to sign some kind of form that says we have received the briefing and agree to abide by the new policies.

I couldn't stand that, no way, I would go crazy, I would lose my mind.

Read the new thread I started. I've already decided how I'm going to handle it. But when I start losing jobs to this shit I'll be honestly looking at moving up north.

I'm with you, Copper. And given the events of the last few years with emphasis on the last few weeks, I'd have to extend 'working' into 'living'. The pandemic is shaping up as a blessing in disguise; how comforting it is not to have to actually rub up against these zombies.

You say you'd lose your mind. Yes, my mind and even my life. I see it now -- the approaching time when being out there will be like being in a perpetual rage. Somebody looks like they're gonna do white fragility BS on me and I'd go, "Get out of my way, you witless clod, or I'll show you whose ass is the fragile one around here."

And then I'd get clobbered.

I think I wouldn't come out too well in any sort of physical encounter.
