Said it before, I'll say it again.
What a truly remarkable platform. The pilots of todays BUFF could easily be the grandkids of the pilots who flew it on its introduction.
What other airframe has had such a longevity?
The Falcon (F-16) might come close, but not quite.

My dad did avionics on them in the 50s and 60s as part of LeMay’s Strategic Air Command.
