    Released yesterday.

I've never participated in the public beta program they offer, waiting until the official release.

But, I installed the official release last night. The part that took the longest was the download of the 12Gb installer. However, once that was done, the update and restarts took about 90 minutes.

    So far, no issues.

What new things in macOS Ventura do you find attractive?

I think I will like the Camera Continuity feature but not sure how well it syncs with audio (if I were to use it to record piano playing), maybe also the PassKey feature but that will take a while for websites/third parties to support). The FreeForm feature sounds useful at a high level but won’t be available until much later and not sure if it will work well as a diagraming/sketching tool.

Haven't played with it enough yet.

I think "Stage Manager" is a waste of space for me. Passkey will be interesting once it's implemented, of course.

I tried the Camera Continuity, and it works, but I've not experimented with FaceTime yet. I invested in a cheap USB webcam that seems to work just fine for the very rare times I need to actually see someone. Also, I'm not sure if I want to go thru the hassle of connecting that way vs just regular FaceTime.

A nice feature is to unsend iMessages and emails.

Also, the ability to "send later" is new in Apple Mail.

Oh, yes, the 15 minute window to “edit” an iMessage after sending can be very useful. As for the Apple Mail “send later” feature, Gmail has that for over a year now, I think. Still a good feature, just came out a bit slower than Gmail.

Several other Mac email clients have been able to do that as well:

              Spark
              Airmail (I think)
              Thunderbird (I think)
